David Dufty was a driving force in bringing Society and Culture into the NSW curriculum. He was the founding Chair of the Society and Culture Syllabus Committee, a teacher of teachers of Society and Culture and a Life Member of the Society and Culture Association. David is remembered for his vision and the creativity and inspiration he brought to the development of Society and Culture as a significant curriculum innovation in our schools.
