The Society & Culture Association of NSW is excited to present “Core Strength” on
Friday 16 August 2019 at the Wesley Conference Centre.

Core Strength is suitable for beginning, experienced and teachers new to Society and Culture. Sessions include key teaching and learning activities related to the following topics:

  • Theories of social change
  • Structural changes within society
  • Agents and processes of change
  • Teaching the near future
  • Contemporary context and country study examples
  • Creative and critical writing – panel and workshop
A video package is available for those wishing to complete self-identified professional learning. Please note this package will be available 10 days after the event. 

Details
Registered participants will receive the course booklet and materials in PDF format via email 3-4 days prior to the event. Participants must print or download the course booklet onto a suitable device, and bring it on the day. 

Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided. 

Payment & Cancellation Policy
Due prior to or within 7 business days of the event. Refunds will not be issued once course booklet has been emailed. Cancellations can be made before Registration Closing Date. Any cancellations made after this date will need approval.
